Our Story
Lantern Society began with a simple idea as we want to be your favourite Asian neighbour by creating a place where everyone feels welcome, and it feels like a regular spot for your family and friend, even on your first visit.
We're a neighbourhood kitchen serving the Asian comfort food that we grew up loving — the dishes our mums, aunties, and grandmothers taught us to cook. Think slow-cooked curries, steaming bowls of laksa, crispy wings, and fragrant rice plates. Nothing fancy. Just good food, cooked the way it should be.
The name Lantern Society is our little nod to the lanterns that light up streets, markets, and family dinners across Asia — a quiet invitation that says, come in, you're welcome here. That's the feeling we wanted to bring to our corner of the neighbourhood.
We opened our doors in 2026 with a small team, a lot of heart, and recipes carried from home kitchens across Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and beyond. Every dish on our menu tells a story — of family, of travel, of the places we call home.

Our Kitchen
We cook like we're feeding family. That means fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, and a whole lot of care in every plate. Our curries simmer low and slow. Our sambal is made in-house. Our rice is always hot. No shortcuts, no fuss — just honest food made with love.
